Re: 1973 Report.........................................................................
The reunion event was a smash and my thanks go out to the
hosts and organizers. Great job! As a result, I started
to dig through the archives and found a "Planning
and Development Committee Interim Report" dated
August 1973. It notes a start date of 1970 and says
that it is the second such report since "Uncle Bill
Pigott" started work on the North Shore. The
first report was completed in December 1970.
The report has an interesting list of staff and the dates
they started with NSYS. I will note these in the
order they appear in the document. I believe that the
start date refers to paid involvement.

The first funded projects seemed to be "street
work" and the A Ma Baie Center in the summer of
1971. Roxboro United Church is noted for that Fall
but I think that meant with paid staff because later it
refers to the Roxboro operation as four years old which
places it back to 1969.
