COMMENTARY

Strengths and Weaknesses: The strength of this technique is its ability to quickly arrive a implementable solutions. In many cases these solutions are also cost effective.

A weaknesses of this technique is that it focuses on the immediate problem only and therefore, the solution may be temporary at best. The symptom of the problem may be corrected but the overall problem may still go unidentified.
