THE AUTHOR
Hedley Dimock heads his own consulting
firm. The Centre for Human Resource Development in Puslinch, Ontario, and is an adjunct professor at
the University of Guelph. He has been on the faculty of a
dozen universities in Canada and the U.S. including McGill,
Columbia, Toronto, and Concordia. While completing his
doctorate at Columbia, he started his consulting career working for the University's Centre for Improving
Group Procedures, and has now worked with over 300 organizations in Canada and
the U.S. Eight of his ten books are
presently in print and five have been published in Japanese. Groups: Leadership and Group
Development is Canada's best selling book on groups. Hedley is one
of the pioneers of Human Relations
Training in Canada and for over 20 years
conducted university-based programs for
trainers and consultants.
