Sub-Prime-Debacle

This tale resulted in great capitalist (opportunistic), sorry, I mean entrepreneurial gains.  No rules were broken or distorted so nobody was hurt - right?  It was business as usual. Just another ugly, but very creative, thought that got expounded and picked up by those willing to share in the wealth.  Some of my buddies always complain about excessive government intervention as a prime reason why business is unable to flourish as it is supposed to within our democratic society.  I retort, if it weren't for government, business would by now have figured out a way to pick every pocket in the kingdom and then complain that codes should be in places to repeal restrictions that inhibited profit making - as in the past.  My buddies on the morning train want government to get out of the way of growth and greed.
